What can you say about an Easter show?
Usually they have a small turnout because everyone is busy doing the Easter Bunny thing with their families. This year things were a lot different! After the bunny finished doing his thing everyone made their way to what quickly became the best Easter Show I have ever promoted! Talk about a HUGE turnout!

Over 100 competitors participated in the SoundOff and Car Show event on easter weekend and everyone had a killer time.. With all the support we are already planning for the 2009 show!
I look forward to seeing all of you fantastic Easter competitors at next years event! Thank you for your incredible support.

USACI Teams Up With Texas High School
03/02/2008 - For Immediate Release

Just 4 hours North of Houston lies the sleepy little town of Marshall, TX. It's a cozy little place where everyone knows each other by name including Brad Dunn and Jeff Brandon. These two run a local club called Dragging Slab and once a year they throw the biggest events in Marshall. They invited Streetseen and USACI out to cover this year’s event and to show how East Texas throws it down.

Nearly 150 vehicles drove out to the Marshall High School parking lot and hung out on a gorgeous but chilly day. Some came as far as Killeen and Ft. Worth. Many, and we mean many.... Made a short drive from Longview, TX peaking our curiosity about the car and truck scene there. Prime Xamples is a prime example of what we mean. After Turkey Drag last year, these dudes were out again in full force ready to show that nothing would keep them down.

There were many activities scheduled for the day including the sound off hosted by USACI and Bass Battles. One of the highlights of the day was the speaker toss. The greatest athletes in East Texas competed with Cara Green taking top honors (a bucket of car cleaners and sponges) for the girls and Thomas Hawks beating all other guys. The club tug of war was another exciting event. Prime Xamples took the prize for the guys and Do It Big Motorsports outdid the Prime Xamples models for the ladies title. They then went to a face off where the Do It Big girls went against Sonny of Prime Xamples. The girls won, but we suspect that Sonny let go of the rope just to see three chicks on their butts!

At the end of the day, Brad announced the winners of the raffle. A set of 20 inch wheels, a color matched spray bed liner, and a sound system were among the top prizes up for grabs. People bought lots of tickets each to increase their chances to win great stuff. This one kid.... And man we should've got his name... Won lots of stuff. He won several buckets, an intake system, the sound system, and the spray on bed liner. He graciously gave the bed liner prize back when he found out he couldn't use it on a bunk bed. See, he didn't even own a vehicle! (but will someday soon!) The bed liner was drawn for again and awarded to another attendee.

This was a fun and interesting event. We want to thank Brad and Jeff of Dragging Slab for showing StreetSeen some East Texas hospitality. We look forward to next year.

01/19/2008 - USACI Neither Sold or Merging!

CES is famous known not only for the product releases but for rumors that travel the floor as well. Shortly after CES USACI began receiving phone calls asking about our being sold and merging with another organization. Since CES the rumors have been spreading like wildfire and the number of calls has grown. While we love that people are talking about USACI we must set put these rumors to rest. USACI HAS NOT been sold and USACI WILL NOT be merging with any other organizations. We have been hard at work finishing contracts and setting up an incredibly busy schedule to make sure our members get plenty of opportunities to gain points before our 21st annual World Finals. We are excited about 2008 and are looking forward to seeing all of our members in the lanes!

Updated 12/05/2007 - Show Attendance Hits 10 Year High

The 2007 competition season has come to a close and the results are in. With very few exceptions 2007 had the highest event attendance figures in over 10 years! Our events had an average attendance of 39.9 cars! With a high of 127 (not including finals) that is an incredible gain over 2006. Our 2006 average was only 24.6 per show. Sound quality has seen a marked increase this year and it looks to be even stronger in 2008. We extend a sincere thanks to all directors and competitors who made 2007 such a great year. We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2008!
